Abstract
【解決手段】 ハウジング部材15の前側には、エアモータ13および回転霧化頭14からなる噴霧器12を取付けると共に、回転霧化頭14を囲繞するようにシェーピングエアリング20を取付ける。また、シェーピングエアリング20の外周側には、高電圧放電電極26の筒状取付部27をねじ込み固定すると共に、筒状取付部27の後端側には複数本の放電ワイヤ28を放射状に取付ける。これにより、シェーピングエアリング20等を介して高電圧放電電極26に高電圧を印加すると、放電ワイヤ28の先端に電界が集中し、コロナ放電が安定的に発生する。

Claims (5)
- 供給された塗料を被塗物に噴霧する塗料噴霧手段と、絶縁材料によって形成され前側に該塗料噴霧手段を保持するハウジング部材と、前記塗料噴霧手段から噴霧された塗料粒子を高電圧に帯電させるための高電圧を発生する高電圧発生手段と、前記ハウジング部材を取囲んで形成され該高電圧発生手段から高電圧が印加されることによりコロナ放電を発生するコロナリングとからなる静電塗装装置において、
前記ハウジング部材の前側には、前記塗料噴霧手段によって噴霧した塗料粒子の噴霧パターンを整形するためにシェーピングエアを吐出する筒状のシェーピングエアリングを設け、
前記コロナリングは、該シェーピングエアリングの外周側に着脱可能に取付けられた筒状取付部と、該筒状取付部の後端側に設けられ前記シェーピングエアリングの径方向外側に向けて放射状に延びる複数本の放電ワイヤとによって構成したことを特徴とする静電塗装装置。 - 前記筒状取付部は、前記シェーピングエアリングの外周側にねじ込みまたは差込みによって固定する構成としてなる請求項1に記載の静電塗装装置。
- 前記放電ワイヤは、線径が0.5mm以上で1mm以下の導電性ワイヤを用いて形成してなる請求項1または2に記載の静電塗装装置。
- 前記放電ワイヤは、融点が2000℃以上の材料を用いて形成してなる請求項1,2または3に記載の静電塗装装置。
- 前記複数本の放電ワイヤは、各放電ワイヤの長さ方向の中間位置に接合された連結ワイヤを用いて互いに連結される構成としてなる請求項1,2,3または4に記載の静電塗装装置。
