Abstract
【解決手段】 複数の吸気ポートを有するシリンダヘッド11と、シリンダヘッド11の吸気ポートに接続する複数の分岐管66を有する吸気マニホールド65と、吸気マニホールド65の複数の分岐管66の配列方向の一端側に配置されるスロットルボディ69とに囲まれた空間に内燃機関の可変動弁機構のコントロールシャフトを駆動するアクチュエータ50を配置したので、シリンダヘッド11、吸気マニホールド65およびスロットルボディ69間に形成される無駄空間を有効に利用してアクチュエータ50を配置することができ、アクチュエータ50を含む内燃機関の全長や全高を小型化することができる。

Claims (2)
- 複数の吸気ポート(11a)を有するシリンダヘッド(11)と、前記シリンダヘッド(11)の吸気ポート(11a)に接続する複数の分岐管(66)を有する吸気マニホールド(65)と、前記複数の分岐管(66)の配列方向の一端側に配置されるスロットルボディ(69)とを備えた内燃機関において、
前記シリンダヘッド(11)、前記吸気マニホールド(65)および前記スロットルボディ(69)に囲まれた空間に内燃機関の補機(50)を配置したことを特徴とする、内燃機関における補機配置構造。 - 前記内燃機関は前記シリンダヘッド(11)の長手方向に配置された可変動弁機構(13)のコントロールシャフト(19)を備え、前記補機(50)は前記コントロールシャフト(19)を駆動するアクチュエータであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の内燃機関における補機配置構造。
