Abstract
バイオセンサーを識別する手段としてのコードパターンを有する電気化学的バイオセンサーを提供する。

支持用基体および該支持用基体の上に配置された導電性コーティングを含むバイオセンサーであって、該コーティングは、電極と、バイオセンサーを識別する手段とを定めるように形成されており、かつ該識別手段が識別可能であるように該導電性コーティングと該支持用基体との間には十分なコントラストが存在することを特徴とする、上記バイオセンサー。

1. 電気接点34と電気的に接続していて、電極14、16の間に、作動電極の表面で還元型メディエーターの拡散律速電気酸化を起こすのに十分な電位差を供給することができる電源;および
2. 電気接点34と電気的に接続していて、上述の電位差がかけられると同時に還元型メディエーターの酸化により発生する拡散律速電流を測定することができるメーター。
1.還元型メディエーターの酸化速度が、還元型メディエーターの作動電極表面への拡散速度に支配されている。
2.発生する電流が、作動電極表面における還元型メディエーターの酸化反応により律速されている。

Claims (11)
- 支持用基体と、該支持用基体の上に配置された導電体(該導電体は少なくとも2つの電極とコードパターンとを定めるために分断されており、該コードパターンは複数のパッド位置または支持用基体の露出部分を含み、それぞれの該パッド位置はギャップによって周囲の導電体から分離された導電体からなるパッドの一つを含むものである)とを含むバイオセンサーと、
該パッド位置1個あたり2個の電気接点を含むコネクターを含むメーターとを含み、
該バイオセンサーが該メーターに挿入されると、該コネクターはそれぞれの該パッド位置に接触し、該メーターは、該パッドの存在を確認するために、それぞれの該パッド位置において導通状態を確認する電子回路を有する、システム。 - 該コードパターンが少なくとも9個の該パッド位置を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 該コードパターンが、該メーターのメモリー装置に記憶されている予め決められたロット情報と関連付けられている、請求項1または2に記載のシステム。
- 該予め決められたロット情報により、該メーターが化学作用あるいは試薬による変動を排除することが可能である、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 該コードパターンが該バイオセンサーを識別する、請求項1または2に記載のシステム。
- 支持用基体と、該支持用基体の上に配置された導電体(該導電体は少なくとも2つの電極とコードパターンとを定めるために分断されており、該コードパターンは複数のパッドを含み、該パッドはギャップによって周囲の導電体から分離された導電体からなり、少なくとも一つの該パッドが、少なくとも一つの他の該パッドと、少なくとも一つの内部連結により接続している)とを含むバイオセンサーと、
それぞれの該パッドのための電気接点を含むコネクターを含むメーターとを含み、
該バイオセンサーが該メーターに挿入されると、該コネクターがそれぞれの該パッドに接触し、該メーターは相互に連結した該パッドの導通状態を確認する電子回路を有する、システム。 - 相互に連結した該パッドの導通状態の確認は抵抗値を測定することを含む、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 該コードパターンが、該メーターのメモリー装置に記憶されている予め決められたロット情報と関連付けられている、請求項6または7に記載のシステム。
- 該予め決められたロット情報により、該メーターが化学作用あるいは試薬による変動を排除することが可能である、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 該コードパターンが該バイオセンサーを識別する、請求項6または7に記載のシステム。
- 支持用基体および該支持用基体の上に配置された導電性コーティングを含むバイオセンサーであって、該コーティングが電極を定めるように形成されており、少なくとも1つの試薬が少なくとも1つの電極上に配置されており、該コーティングがバイオセンサーを識別するためのコードパターンを定めるように形成されており、該コードパターンがギャップによって導電性材料の残りの部分から分離しており、識別手段が光学的に識別可能であるように該導電性コーティングと該支持用基体との間には十分なコントラストが存在することを特徴とする、上記バイオセンサー。
