Abstract
【解決手段】発光素子1、受光素子2及び導光体3を具備した光学式水滴センサがウインドシールドガラス4の車内側表面に接着部材層5を介して貼着されている。導光体3には夫々凸形状の任意曲面で構成された光入斜面7及び光出射面8、平坦面で構成された光入出射面9、金属膜による反射面12が設けられている。発光素子1から発せられた光は光入射面7で配光が最適化されて導光体3内に導入され、金属膜11の反射面12で反射されてウインドシールドガラス4の車外側表面14に至り、そこで全反射されて戻った光は光出射面8に至って該光出射面8で配光が最適化されて導光体3外に放出され、受光素子の受光面に集光する。

前記光学式水滴センサは発光素子、受光素子および導光体を具備し、
前記導光体には、導光体内に入射した光を前記透光板方向に向ける金属含有膜を形成した側面反射手段と、外部に対して凸形状とした出射面が形成されている、ことを特徴とするものである。

Claims (3)
- 透光板の一方の面に接着し、他方の面に付着した水滴を検出する光学式水滴センサであって、
前記光学式水滴センサは発光素子、受光素子および導光体を具備し、
前記導光体には、導光体内に入射した光を前記透光板方向に向ける金属含有膜を形成した側面反射手段と、外部に対して凸形状とした出射面が形成されている、ことを特徴とする光学式水滴センサ。 - 前記導光体の前記反射手段が施された面の形状を平坦面、任意曲面の凸形状、任意曲面の凹形状からなる群より選ばれた一つとしたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光学式水滴センサ。
- 前記導光体の前記反射手段が施された面の外周縁に、前記反射手段が施された面よりも外側に張り出したつばを設けたことを特徴とする請求項1または2の何れか1項に記載の光学式水滴センサ。
