Abstract
【解決手段】不整地走行用の鞍乗り型車両に装備され、インボード側およびアウトボード側の等速自在継手J1,J2を介して駆動力を車輪に伝達するドライブシャフトにおいて、等速自在継手用ブーツとしてゴムブーツを使用する。

Description
ATV用ドライブシャフトは、図1に示すように、アウトボード側の等速自在継手J1と、インボード側の等速自在継手J2と、両継手J1,J2を結合する中間軸1とで構成される。アウトボード側の等速自在継手J1は車輪と結合され、インボード側の等速自在継手J2はディファレンシャルと結合される(図4参照)。

Claims (7)
- 不整地走行用の鞍乗り型車両に装備され、インボード側およびアウトボード側の等速自在継手を介して駆動力を前車輪に伝達するドライブシャフトであって、前記等速自在継手の少なくとも一方のブーツが、JISK6253デュロメータ硬さAタイプによる硬さが常温時(25℃)で65以下、低温時(−20°)で77以下のブーツ材料で構成されていることを特徴とするATV用ドライブシャフト。
- 前記アウトボード側の等速自在継手用にCRブーツを具備したことを特徴とする請求項1のATV用ドライブシャフト。
- 前記アウトボード側の等速自在継手が、内球面の円周方向に複数配置した軸方向に延びるトラック溝を有する外輪と、外球面の円周方向に複数配置した軸方向に延びるトラック溝を有する内輪と、外輪のトラック溝と内輪のトラック溝とに係合するトルク伝達ボールと、外輪の内球面と内輪の外球面との間に介在し前記トルク伝達ボールを収容するためのポケットを有する保持器とを具備し、継手縦断面で見て、前記外輪のトラック溝の溝中心と前記内輪のトラック溝の溝中心が、継手中心を挟み軸方向で互いに反対側に等距離だけオフセットさせてあることを特徴とする請求項2のATV用ドライブシャフト。
- 前記外輪のトラック溝の開口側端部にストレート部を設け、かつ、前記内輪のトラック溝の反開口側端部にストレート部を設けたことを特徴とする請求項2のATV用ドライブシャフト。
- 前記保持器のポケットの軸方向寸法Lと前記トルク伝達ボールの直径dとの関係を−30μm≦(L−d)≦0としたことを特徴とする請求項3または4のATV用ドライブシャフト。
- 前記保持器の外球面の曲率中心と、前記保持器の内球面の曲率中心とを、継手中心を挟んで軸方向に互いに反対側に等距離だけオフセットさせたことを特徴とする請求項3、4または5のATV用ドライブシャフト。
- 前記オフセットのオフセット角φCが0°<φC<1°の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項6のATV用ドライブシャフト。
