Abstract
【解決手段】 スプロケット1のハウジング5とカムシャフト2との間に設けられたベーン部材7を、遅角側油室9と進角側油室10への相対的な油圧の給排により正逆回転させて前記スプロケットとカムシャフトの相対回動位相を変換する。各進角側、遅角側油室に作動油を電磁切換弁22を介して選択的に供給する電動ポンプ18の吐出通路16に、吐出通路の下流側から上流方向へのみ流入を許容するチェック弁23を設け、前記各油室内の作動油に発生した脈圧の電動ポンプへの伝達を阻止するようにした。

前記回転部材またはカムシャフトの他方側に固定され、前記ハウジング内部に回転自在に配置されつつ前記進角側油室と遅角側油室とを隔成するベーン部材とによって構成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関のバルブタイミング制御装置。

Claims (3)
- クランクシャフトによって回転駆動され、カムシャフトと相対回転自在に設けられた回転部材と、
前記回転部材とカムシャフトとの間に配置されて、内部に形成された進角側油室と遅角側油室に、作動油を選択的に供給して前記回転部材とカムシャフトとの相対回転位相を変換する位相変換機構と、
前記進角側油室と遅角側油室に、該各油室にそれぞれ対応する進角側通路と遅角側通路を介して作動油を供給する電動ポンプと、
該電動ポンプの吐出通路及び吸入通路と前記進角側通路及び遅角側通路との間に設けられて、前記吐出通路に対して前記進角側通路と遅角側通路のいずれか一方側に切り換えると同時に、前記吸入通路に対して前記進角側通路と遅角側通路の他方側に切り換える切換弁と、
該切換弁を機関運転状態に応じて制御する制御機構と、
前記吐出通路に設けられて、前記電動ポンプから前記切換弁方向へのみ作動油の流入を許容するチェック弁と、
を備えたことを特徴とする内燃機関のバルブタイミング制御装置。 - 前記切換弁は、前記進角側通路と遅角側通路に対して前記吐出通路及び吸入通路との連通を遮断可能とすることを特徴とする請求項1記載の内燃機関のバルブタイミング制御装置。
- 前記吐出通路と吸入通路とを連通するバイパス通路を設けると共に、該バイパス通路に前記吸入通路から吐出通路方向へのみ作動油の流入を許容するバイパスチェック弁を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関のバルブタイミング制御装置。
