Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a printed circuit board provided with a heat sink for cooling, and more particularly to a capacitor board with a radiator that is effective in improving cooling performance and earthquake resistance when used in an in-vehicle inverter module.
Many electronic components are attached to a so-called printed board (hereinafter also referred to as a board). This is because the mechanical holding and wiring of the components are completed at the same time by mounting. By the way, many electronic components themselves generate heat, and there are many components that need to consider the heat dissipation. In many cases, so-called heat sinks (metal radiators) made of aluminum or copper are used for efficient heat dissipation.
When the electronic component to be cooled is a large semiconductor, a heat sink can be directly attached to the semiconductor. However, when there are a small number of semiconductors or parts to be cooled and there are many, or in the case of the capacitor described in the present invention, it is difficult to attach a heat sink directly to the part, and a print with this part attached is difficult. It is necessary to mount the substrate in close contact with the heat sink and cool it. Especially in the case of a capacitor, it is necessary to dissipate heat through the electrode of the capacitor. It is not easy to install.
That is, since the electrode of the component protrudes on the front / back surface of the printed circuit board, it cannot be brought into contact with other metals, and even if it is made, many solder protrusions exist and are bumpy. It is impossible to adhere to the surface of the heat sink.
However, the compound 30 used here must be highly flexible in order to obtain adhesion to an irregular substrate surface. For this reason, even if the compound 30 appears to be bonded to the
Of course, if you increase the number of mounting screws and narrow the screw spacing, you can cope with vibration and bending, but problems such as poor workability, increased board area, and reduced freedom of board pattern creation will increase. There was a problem to do.
In order to effectively transfer the heat of the board to the heat sink, if a layer of compound is placed between the board and the heat sink, the soft compound has no mechanical holding capacity, so the larger the heat sink area, or the component The greater the weight, the easier the substrate will vibrate and bend, and the seismic performance will decrease. And there existed a subject that a compound peeled from a board | substrate by such a vibration and the bending of a board, and cooling capacity also fell. In particular, the smoothing capacitor of an inverter has a large capacity, and its weight and size are particularly large among general electronic components. Therefore, there is a demand for a capacitor board with a radiator having a mounting structure that satisfies both cooling and earthquake resistance was there.

The best embodiment of the structure of the capacitor substrate with a radiator of the present invention will be described below.
FIG. 1 shows an exploded perspective view for explaining the configuration of the capacitor board with a radiator according to the first embodiment of the present invention. Further, FIG. 2 shows a cross-sectional view after assembling the structure shown in FIG. 1 in order to help understanding the configuration of FIG. In the following drawings, the same symbols indicate the same or corresponding parts.

The injected

In this embodiment, the structure of the insert case is simple and lightweight, and the heat of the capacitor substrate is directly transmitted to the heat sink via the adhesive, so that the heat effect is great.
