【特許請求の範囲】
【請求項1】 ポリマー組成物を製造するために狭い分子量分布のベースポリマーと高分子量ポリマー成分とを合併する工程を含む、ポリマー組成物の製造方法であって、
前記ベースポリマーは、約5未満のMw/Mnと約0.2g/10分〜約20g/10分のメルトフローインデックスとを有するエチレンポリマーであり;且つ
前記高分子量ポリマー成分は、それの諸分子の少なくともかなりの部分が100万より大きい分子量を有するような分子量分布を有し、且つ、該高分子量ポリマー成分は、100万より大きい分子量を有する前記諸分子が前記ポリマー組成物の全重量に基づき約0.1〜約10重量%を占めるような量で合併する;
上記製造方法。
【請求項2】 ポリマー組成物を製造するために狭い分子量分布のベースポリマーと高分子量ポリマー成分とを合併する工程を含む、該ベースポリマーからのインフレートフィルムの透明度を増大させる方法であって、
前記ベースポリマーは、約5未満のMw/Mnと約0.2g/10分〜約20g/10分のメルトフローインデックスとを有するエチレンポリマーであり;且つ
前記高分子量ポリマー成分は、それの諸分子の少なくともかなりの部分が100万より大きい分子量を有するような分子量分布を有し、該高分子量ポリマー成分は、100万より大きい分子量を有する前記諸分子が前記ポリマー組成物の全重量に基づき約0.1〜約10重量%を占めるような量で合併する;
上記増大方法。
【請求項3】 ポリマー組成物を製造するために狭い分子量分布のベースポリマーと高分子量ポリマー成分とを合併する工程を含む、該ベースポリマーのかさ密度を増大させる方法であって、
前記ベースポリマーは、約5未満のMw/Mnと約0.2g/10分〜約20g/10分のメルトフローインデックスとを有するエチレンポリマーであり;且つ
前記高分子量ポリマー成分は、それの諸分子の少なくともかなりの部分が100万より大きい分子量を有するような分子量分布を有し、且つ、該高分子量ポリマー成分は、100万より大きい分子量を有する前記諸分子が前記ポリマー組成物の全重量に基づき約0.1〜約10重量%を占めるような量で合併し;
前記高分子量ポリマー成分と前記ベースポリマーとを合併する工程は、重合触媒系を重合帯域に添加する前か又は添加した後に該重合触媒系を変性する工程によって、該重合帯域中で行う;
上記増大方法。
【請求項4】 ベースポリマーのMw/Mnが約4.0未満である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
【請求項5】 ベースポリマーのメルトフローインデックスが約0.5g/10分〜約10g/10分の範囲にある、請求項4に記載の方法。
【請求項6】 ベースポリマーは、メタロセン触媒、マグネシウムとチタンのハロゲン化物を含有するチーグラー触媒、及びクロム触媒から成る群から選定される触媒によって生成する、請求項5に記載の方法。
【請求項7】 ベースポリマーのMw/Mnが3.0未満である、請求項6に記載の方法。
【請求項8】 ベースポリマーのメルトフローインデックスが0.8g/10分〜5.0g/10分の範囲にある、請求項7に記載の方法。
【請求項9】 ベースポリマーが約0.910g/cc〜約0.940g/ccの範囲の密度を有する、請求項8に記載の方法。
【請求項10】 ベースポリマーが0.915g/cc〜0.93g/ccの範囲の密度を有する、請求項9に記載の方法。
【請求項11】 合併されている高分子量ポリマー成分は、100万より大きい分子量を有する諸分子がポリマー組成物の全重量に基づき約0.5重量%〜約5重量%を占めるような量で存在する、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
【請求項12】 高分子量ポリマー成分は、ハロゲン化チタン、ハロゲン化ジルコニウム、ジルコニウムアルキルに基づくチーグラー触媒;酸化クロム触媒;メタロセン触媒;及びそれらの混合物;から成る群から選定される触媒によって生成する、請求項11に記載の方法。
【請求項13】 合併されている高分子量ポリマー成分は、100万より大きい分子量を有する諸分子がポリマー組成物の全重量に基づき1重量%〜3重量%を占めるような量で存在する、請求項12に記載の方法。
【請求項14】 高分子量ポリマー成分が、適切な量の高分子量ポリマー成分を与えるのに十分な量の、100万より大きい分子量のポリマーを含有するという条件で、該高分子量ポリマー成分はまた100万未満の分子量のポリマーをもかなりの量含有する、請求項13に記載の方法。
【請求項15】 高分子量ポリマー成分とベースポリマーとを合併する工程は、該ベースポリマー及び該高分子量ポリマー成分を生成するために、重合触媒系を重合帯域に添加する前か又は添加した後に該重合触媒系を変性する工程によって、該重合帯域中で行う、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
【請求項16】 重合触媒系を変性する工程は、続いてベースポリマーと高分子量ポリマー成分とを同時に生成することのできる該重合触媒系に第2の遷移金属成分を添加することによって達成する、請求項15に記載の方法。
【請求項17】 重合触媒系が、ベースポリマーを生成する第1のメタロセン成分と、高分子量ポリマー成分を生成する第2のメタロセン成分とを含む2種のメタロセン成分を含有する、請求項15に記載の方法。
【請求項18】 重合触媒系を変性する工程は、該重合触媒系と反応して高分子量ポリマー成分を生成する第2の遷移金属成分を添加することによって;しかも、該重合触媒系が重合帯域中に存在している状態で;達成する、請求項16に記載の方法。
【請求項19】 重合触媒系がメタロセンを含有し、且つ、第2の遷移金属成分がチタン成分又はクロム成分である、請求項18に記載の方法。
【請求項20】 第2の遷移金属成分が、フッ化物処理済みチタン含有シリカ−アルミナ、又はフッ化物処理済みクロム含有シリカ−アルミナである、請求項19に記載の方法。
【請求項21】 ベースポリマーのインフレートフィルムの透明度を改善するために高分子量ポリマー成分とベースポリマーとを合併する工程は、
該高分子量ポリマー成分と該ベースポリマーとを別々に生成した後に、該高分子量ポリマー成分と該ベースポリマーとを混合することによって行う、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
【請求項22】 ベースポリマー及び高分子量ポリマー成分は、重合条件下、重合帯域中で、エチレンと、1−ヘキセンと、ビス(n−ブチルシクロペンタジエニル)ジルコニウムジクロライドと、フッ化物処理済みクロム含有シリカ−アルミナと、トリエチルアルミニウムとを接触させる工程を含むプロセスによって生成する、請求項2に記載の方法。
【請求項23】 ベースポリマー及び高分子量ポリマー成分は、重合条件下、重合帯域中で、エチレンと、1−ヘキセンと、ビス(n−ブチルシクロペンタジエニル)ジルコニウムジクロライドと、フッ化物処理済みチタン含有シリカ−アルミナと、トリエチルアルミニウムとを接触させる工程を含むプロセスによって生成する、請求項3に記載の方法。
【請求項24】 請求項1〜23のいずれか1項に記載の方法によって得ることができるポリマー組成物。
【請求項25】 狭い分子量分布のベースポリマーと高分子量ポリマー成分とを含有するポリマー組成物であって、
前記ベースポリマーは、約5未満のMw/Mnと約0.2g/10分〜約20g/10分のメルトフローインデックスとを有するエチレンポリマーであり;
前記高分子量ポリマー成分は、それの諸分子の少なくともかなりの部分が100万より大きい分子量を有するような分子量分布を有し、且つ、該高分子量ポリマー成分は、100万より大きい分子量を有する前記諸分子が前記ポリマー組成物の全重量に基づき約0.1〜約10重量%を占めるような量で合併されている;
上記ポリマー組成物。
【請求項26】 ベースポリマーのMw/Mnが約4.0未満である、請求項25に記載の組成物。
【請求項27】 ベースポリマーのメルトフローインデックスが約0.5g/10分〜約10g/10分の範囲にある、請求項26に記載の組成物。
【請求項28】 ベースポリマーが、メタロセン触媒、マグネシウムとチタンのハロゲン化物とを含有するチーグラー触媒、及びクロム触媒から成る群から選定される触媒によって生成された、請求項27に記載の組成物。
【請求項29】 ベースポリマーのMw/Mnが3.0未満である、請求項28に記載の組成物。
【請求項30】 ベースポリマーのメルトフローインデックスが0.8g/10分〜5.0g/10分の範囲にある、請求項29に記載の組成物。
【請求項31】 ベースポリマーが約0.910g/cc〜約0.940g/ccの範囲の密度を有する、請求項30に記載の組成物。
【請求項32】 ベースポリマーが0.915g/cc〜0.93g/ccの範囲の密度を有する、請求項31に記載の組成物。
【請求項33】 合併されている高分子量ポリマー成分が、100万より大きい分子量を有する諸分子がポリマー組成物の全重量に基づき約0.5〜約5重量%を占めるような量で存在している、請求項32に記載の組成物。
【請求項34】 高分子量ポリマー成分は、ハロゲン化チタン、ハロゲン化ジルコニウム、ジルコニウムアルキルに基づくチーグラー触媒;酸化クロム触媒;クロモセン触媒;メタロセン触媒;及びそれらの混合物;から成る群から選定される触媒によって生成されている、請求項33に記載の組成物。
【請求項35】 合併されている高分子量ポリマー成分は、100万より大きい分子量を有する諸分子がポリマー組成物の全重量に基づき1重量%〜3重量%を占めるような量で存在している、請求項34に記載の組成物。
【請求項36】 高分子量ポリマー成分が、適切な量の高分子量ポリマー成分を与えるのに十分な量の、100万より大きい分子量のポリマーを含有するという条件で、該高分子量ポリマー成分はまた100万未満の分子量のポリマーをもかなりの量含有している、請求項34に記載の組成物
