2. Description of the Related Art In a general ball-point pen, a gap for allowing ink necessary for writing to flow out is appropriately provided around a tip ball which is a writing portion. Therefore, the ink evaporates from the gaps, vibrates during transportation, falls during ink transport, causes air oxidation deterioration of ink due to long-term storage, ink leaks (DC of ink), and the occurrence of blur due to air entry. Accidents such as ink drop (ink backflow) in which ink drops axially rearward when the writing portion is stored (upward) in the axial direction are often seen. Conventionally, in order to solve these problems, there is known a means 1 in which a spring is incorporated in a chip and a tip ball is brought into liquid-tight contact with an inner edge of a ball holding portion of the chip by a pressing force of the tip of the spring. ing. This means 1 makes it possible to prevent writing blur and backflow of ink based on direct current and drying of ink from the tip of the tip. However, in this means 1, when a foreign object is caught between the tip ball and the ball holding portion during writing, or when writing upwards is repeated, air is entangled from the tip to cause a backflow phenomenon of ink, thereby causing writing blur. There are drawbacks. Further, when mounted on a cap-off knock-type writing instrument or the like, there is a drawback that writing knock occurs significantly due to knock impact. Also, a valve chamber in which a ball valve is loosely fitted is provided at the shaft center of the joint connecting the chip and the ink containing tube, and when the chip is upward, the ball valve closes the conductive hole leading to the ink containing tube to cause ink to flow. Means 2 that can prevent backflow are known. Furthermore, the applicant has already proposed a means 3 in which the means 2 is added to the means 1 in order to solve the drawbacks of the means 1.

FIGS. 3 to 5 show a conventional example of the present applicant, which approximates a solution problem to be described later. Explaining the outline, this conventional ballpoint pen presses the tip ball, which is a writing portion, very weakly with a spring,
At the time of writing, the tip ball and the spring are moved to the rear of the shaft to secure a flow path of ink necessary for writing, so that good writing can be performed similarly to a general ballpoint pen. The tip is formed by press-fitting a holder holding the tip ball and a tip joint which makes the rear end of the spring abut and cannot be pulled out. Therefore, it is expected that the processing accuracy of the chip as described above becomes easy, and that the spring can be easily incorporated without being pulled out, the quality is stabilized, and the total cost of chip formation is reduced. . Further, the rear end of the spring is inserted into the tip joint in a contact state, and a straight portion that abuts on the tip ball at the tip of the spring, a winding portion toward the rear from the rear end of the straight portion, and A bent end portion toward the center is provided at the rear end of the winding portion, and a tapered or spherical ball receiving seat and a guide hole are provided behind the rear end of the spring in the tip joint inner hole, and the bent end portion and the ball are provided. A ball valve is loosely fitted between the receiving seats, and a guide hole is provided in communication with the rear end opening of the tip joint. An ink storage tube is provided. This conventional example also has poor productivity because a bent end portion is formed at the rear end of the winding portion of the spring, and the axial center of the spring because the spring is inserted into the tip joint and then the holder is fixed to the tip joint. However, there is a problem in terms of quality and an increase in cost due to the considerable demand for the above.

Therefore, the above-mentioned means 3
In addition, the above-described conventional example has a problem that the processing and assembly are complicated and the cost is increased. Therefore, the present invention is intended to improve ballpoint pens mainly using low-viscosity inks, without alienating smooth writing at the time of writing, preventing dry-up due to volatilization of ink, and ink leakage due to impact during dropping and transportation. Provides reliable ballpoint pens, including the ability to prevent dispensing and the ability to prevent ink drops due to inflow of air when stored in stores for a long period of time, and is easier to manufacture than conventional technologies. Make it possible.

The operation of the present invention will be described. The tip ball 2 serving as a writing portion has a spherical shape and a ball holding portion 1i for a chip.
When the tip ball 2 is pressed from behind by the spring 3, the valve is closed and the outside air and the inside of the chip are shut off, thereby preventing dry-up due to volatilization of the ink 7 and air due to impact and drop. Thus, it is possible to prevent the intrusion of the ink 7, the leakage of the ink 7 and the deterioration of the ink near the pen tip due to air.

The configuration and operation of the ballpoint pen of the present invention are as described above, and the performance at the time of writing is not affected at all by the spring built in the tip and the valve mechanism of the tip ball which is the writing portion. Therefore, it is possible to greatly improve the ink dry-up prevention performance, the drop impact resistance performance, the ink drop resistance performance, and the ink leakage resistance performance when not written. Further, since the chip which is the gist of the present invention is made of an integral resin and the spring and the ball valve can be inserted in the same direction, the assemblability is good and the cost is low. Further, stable quality can be expected without requiring high accuracy of the spring. Also, the tip can be made to have the same outer dimensions as the tip of a general oil-based ballpoint pen that does not require an ink backflow prevention mechanism, and productivity can be improved by using a common joint and ink reservoir. It is.

1. A ball-point pen having a built-in spring for pressing a tip ball in a resin chip and a ball valve for opening and closing a conductive hole opened at the rear end of the chip. The straight part at the tip,
A winding portion for applying a pressing force toward the rear from the straight portion rear end is further provided with a dense winding portion behind the winding portion and a rod shaft portion protruding at the rear end of the dense winding portion. In the chip, the tightly wound portion of the spring is fixed to the inner wall of the tip hole, the straight portion presses the back surface of the tip ball, and the tip ball is in liquid-tight contact with the inner surface of the ball holding portion of the tip, An entire circumferential concave portion is formed at the rear outer peripheral portion of the shaft portion of the chip to be press-bonded to the ink storage tube, and a tapered portion is formed at its front and rear inner surfaces with its inner surface as a guide hole,
The ball valve presses the rear tapered portion from the rear end of the shaft portion of the chip to elastically deform the cracked portion in the expanding direction so that the ball valve can move between the rear end of the rod portion of the spring and the front tapered portion. It is configured so that the ball valve is in close contact with the ball receiving seat in a liquid-tight manner when the chip is upward with the front tapered portion as the ball receiving seat, and the guide hole is closed. A ball-point pen having a tip formed by the method described above, which is fixed to the tip of the joint, and an ink storage tube is provided behind the joint.
