Abstract

A találmány tárgya nátriumcsatorna blokkoló alkalmazása glaukómávalkapcsolatos szemideg-degenerálódás megelőzésére szolgáló gyógyászatikészítmény előállítására, közelebbről glaukómával kapcsolatos retinaganglionsejt-pusztulás megelőzésére szolgáló gyógyászati készítményelőállítására. Az ilyen gyógyászati készítmény előállításáraalkalmazott vegyület a fenti sejt típus vélten nem inaktiválódónátriumioncsatornáinak blokkolására alkalmas. Az alkalmazottnátriumioncsatorna blokkoló hatóanyagok ganglionsejtek normálisintracelluláris Na+ és Ca2+ koncentrációjának anoxiás periódust követőfenntartására, emlősök szemében glaukomával kapcsolatosan bekövetkezőretina ganglionsejt-pusztulás megelőzésére, retina ganglionsejtekiránt neuroprotektív hatás kifejtésére hasznosak.
