Abstract

994,207. Supplying liquid fuel to burners. ESSO RESEARCH & ENGINEERING CO. Jan. 6, 1964 [May 28, 1963], No. 21329/63. Drawings to Specification. Heading F4T. Liquid fuel is pumped from a common source to a number of burners located in separate buildings and the pressure of the fuel is reduced at each burner by a valve. The supply to each burner also passes through a filter, a restriction orifice, a flow recording meter, a safety valve which isolates the fuel supply if the pressure reducing valve fails and a float controlled tank ensuring gravity feed to the burner. The above units are mounted on a plate removable from a box located externally of the building. The meter is visible through a window. Two air bleed valves and an isolating valve are also provided.
