984,130. Contact members for switches. BUSCH-JAEGER DUERENER METALLWERKE A.G. Feb. 21, 1963 [March 3, 1962], No. 6979/63. Heading H2B. In a contact arrangement, the fixed contact support 4 is of a conductive ferrite and the moving contact includes a permanent magnet 2 which in the closed position is spaced from the fixed contact surface 5 by a plated contact surface 3. The moving contact surface may comprise alternatively a sleeve-shaped member surrounding a magnet, Fig. 2 (not shown), a contact rivet surrounded by an annular magnet, Fig. 3 (not shown), or a magnet surrounded by a yoke, Fig. 4 (not shown).
