[Also in Group XXIV] A clutch sleeve 28 with two sets of teeth 26, 30 which have the same pitch circle diameter whilst the former 26 are small in number with large module and the latter 30 are large in number with small module, is made in a single operation by a double tool which cuts both sets of teeth simultaneously. During cutting the tool has both a rotary and axial reciprocating motion.
