920,345. Piston packing. GANZ-MAVAG MOZDONY-, VAGOR-ES GEPGYAR. July 6, 1960 [July 6, 1959], No. 23690/60. Class 122 (1). The piston 1 of a compressor is packed by segmental piston rings 2 made of lubricantimpregnated sintered metal and urged radially outwards by a spring ring 3. The rings 2 may be impregnated with silicone oil. The piston 1 is stepped to provide three stages each having a guide ring 4 with an axial width greater than that of the rings 2.
