Abstract
910,429. Valves. ALLMANNA SVENSKA ELEKTRISKA A.B. Jan. 6, 1961 [Jan. 9, 1960], No. 615/61. Class 135. A multi-way valve with a lateral inlet 2 has two aligned and elastic seats 6, 7 between which is a ball closure 8 normally urged by a spring 9 on to the seat 7 whereupon the inlet is open to an outlet 3 via the seat 6. Upon depressing an outlet member 11, the ball 8 is forced on to the lower seat 6, thereby connecting the inlet to the other outlet 13, formed in the member 11, via slots 12 at the inner end of the member 13; the latter may be retained in this position by a pivoted bar 14. The upper seat 7 is supported by an abutment 10, the member 13 being slidable in the abutment and a detachable cover 16.
