Abstract

906,352. Seats; furniture joints. PLAXICO. June 10, 1960 [June 12, 1959; April 5, 1960], No. 20555/60. Class 52 (2). A dismountable chair has an integrally moulded plastic back and seat member 1 provided on its undersurface with four diverging sockets 2 externally ribbed at 2a and internally splined to receive tubular legs 4 which are interconnected and braced by a removable member comprising rods 5c welded together at 8 and terminating in a stud which engages a keyhole slot in each leg 4. A collar 9 slidably mounted on each end of each rod 5c has a peg 10 which is engaged in each slot to lock the rods in position.
