Abstract

903,998. Roofing tiles; roofs. REARDON, J. M. Nov. 22, 1960 [June 8, 1960], No. 20195/60. Classes 20 (4) and 87 (1). A clay or concrete roofing tile having hanging ribs 6 is provided with interlocking side edges 21 and with a bevelled edge 14 inclined parallel to the edge 8 of the rib. The tile is arched so that the upper end 15 is slightly inclined backwardly from the main part 20. In a roof the tiles overlap and are supported with the surfaces 8, 14 abutting surfaces of battens of parallelogram section.
