An horizontal bus-bar 2, supported by flexible connections 10 on insulators 3a, 3b, 3c is connected to a remote point 5 at a higher level by a branch conductor 4, formed from two portions, namely, a horizontal portion 7 and an inclined bifurcated portion 8, rigidly attached to it and rigidly connected at points 9 to the bus-bar 2. Electrical connection between the parts of the bus-bar on either side of insulator 3b is by means of the bifurcated second portion 8 of the branch conductor 4.
