[Class 38 (v)] In enclosed switchgear the bus-bars D, compressed - gas power - switches A, isolators B, G<1>, G<11> and connecting- leads are arranged in cylindrical-containers with compressed-gas insulation, the power-switches and certain of the isolators being disposed in horizontal tubes arranged one above the other and extending laterally from a vertical tube forming the cable terminal-chamber F, and housing a current-transformer E. The bus-bars D are disposed in horizontal tubes carried by the vertical tube. In Fig. 2, the power-switch A and circuitclosing isolator B are withdrawable by means of plug-contacts C, C<1>, and the cable terminal-chamber is filled with insulating material. In Fig. 4 (not shown), a duplicate bus-bar system is provided by duplicating the arrangement of isolators B, C<1> in an additional chamber placed over that of the isolators B, C<1>. In Fig. 5, two withdrawable circuit-breakers each similar to that shown in Fig. 2, can be selectively connected to two bus-bar systems D, D<1>. In Fig. 8, the powerswitch A and circuit-closing isolator B are connected to the cable and to duplicate bus-bars D, D<1> by an isolator G and selectorswitches G<1>, G<11> respectively. In Fig. 9 (not shown), an auxiliary bus-bar can be connected to the cable through an isolator. Alternative arrangements are diagrammatically indicated in Fig. 1 (not shown).
