884,065. Ventilating vehicles. DAIMLERBENZ, A. G. Dec. 11, 1959 [Dec. 20, 1958], No. 42199/59. Class 137 [Also in Group XXXII] A vehicle has a roof with projecting edge portions 2, 3, 4, 5 extending around its whole contour and is ventilated by air passing through ducts housed in these edge portions communicating with the passenger compartment. Air entering from the front at 7 passes through the hollow edge 2 to delivery aperture 8 and air entering the scoop 10 passes along the hollow edge to delivery openings 15, 17. Air may be withdrawn from a scoop 11 and from an outlet aperture 19 in the edge 3 which communicates with a slit-like aperture 20. The projecting roof edges are of triangular section. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 816,008, 818,356 and 820,047.
