870,168. Dowelling; securing bolt-like pins. UNITED-CARR FASTENER CORPORATION. Nov. 4, 1958 [Nov. 7, 1957], No. 35408/58. Classes 89(1) and 89(2). A fastener for securing a pin 14 in a socket 10 in a member 12 comprises a tubular body 18 with outwardly-extending spring teeth 20 at one end to engage the socket wall, and inwardly-extending spring teeth 22 at the other end to engage the pin. The teeth 20 are bent towards said other end and the teeth 22 are bent towards said one end. Specification 842,566 is referred to.
