Abstract

537,162. Fasteners. UNITED-CARR FASTENER CORPORATION. April 16, 1940, No. 6845. Convention date, May 17, 1939. [Class 44] A moulding &c. 1 is attached to a support 2 by a tubular member 3 made of sheet metal and adapted to be inserted in a bore 4 in 1 where it is secured by tongues 10, biting into the moulding. The member 3 is then passed through a hole in the support where it is secured by resilient projections 12, 13 pressed out of the sheet metal. The element 3 may be split at 7 to enable it to be compressed during insertion in the support.
