830,288. Paperhanging appliances. HULSE, A. Sept. 16, 1958 [July 24, 1957], No. 23382/57. Class 20(2) An appliance for hanging paper on ceilings comprises a telescopic strut 8 which supports in resilient contact with the ceiling a rubber roller Q of the standard width of wallpaper, and a T head V carried by an arm T pivotally engaged with the strut by a removable point S and loaded by a spring U to bear against the ceiling. The roller Q is mounted on a bar M carried by a spring containing socket L in which slides the strut B. The base of the strut fits into a socket G of a cruciform base. The bar M carries hooks to receive the T head V when not extended, and a wedge (not shown) to prevent rotation of the roller Q.
