Abstract

824,733. Swivelling handles ; mops. AMERICAN-MARIETTA CO. July 2, 1957 [July 11, 1956], No. 20893/57. Classes 19 and 61. [Also in Group XXV] A handle 10 is pivoted to a wire frame 13 received in a pocket in a mop body by means of a member 16 made of spring metal which has journal portions 17 engaging the wire frame, a finger 21 in frictional contact with the frame, and at least one outwardly extending arm 18 frictionally pivoted to the arm or arms 28 of a socket member 25 which receives the handle.
