819,699. Mine roof support bars. VANWERSCH, A., VANWERSCH, L., and VANWERSCH, P. Jan. 17. 1958. No. 1760/58. Class 20(2) Mine roof support bars connected end to end by interengaging fork and tongue and a pivot 5 each have a member 7 pivoted to the tongue 3 having an aperture through which a wedge 9 is driven to engage the edge of the other bar and lock the bars together. The member 7 is pivoted in a fork in the end of the tongue on a pivot 6 so that the bar can be used with either edge uppermost. The member 7 may be removably hooked on the pivot 6.
