Class 44 A fastener device for attaching an article to a support comprises a base having means for enabling it to be secured to a support, and two or more resilient or flexible laterally spaced arms projecting from the base and adapted to extend into a cavity in the article and make frictional engagement with the inner wall thereof, at least one of the arms having an abutment engageable by the article so as to locate the latter in spaced relation to the support. As shown the device comprises a flat base 1 formed with four integral flexible arms 3, 4 and 5 from each of which are cut a lug 6 and a prong 7; the device being used to support a hollow former b on a support a by means of a screw 9 which is engaged in a hole 8 in the base. The screw fixing may be replaced by downwardly projecting arms struck from the base and adapted for snapengagement with a hole in the support.
