797,867. Tricycles. SOC. D'APPAREILS DE CONTROLE ET D'EQUIPEMENT DES MOTEURS S.A.C.E.M. Sept. 27, 1956 [Oct. 11, 1955], No. 29563/56. Class 136(3) In a frame for a tricycle having a single front wheel, the main member of the frame consists of a single tube 1 which is extended backwards beyond the back axle and has fixed to its rear end stays 6 bracing, in the horizontal plane, the two wheel supports 5 which hold the co-axial back axles 19, the stays 6 being mounted behind the supports 2. The tube 1 descends obliquely from the steering head 2 to pass horizontally over a transverse sleeve 3 forming a support for the crank gear. The tube 1 passes through a saddle support 4 which also supports the sleeve 3. The wheel supports 5 are braced in their vertical planes by rear oblique arms 22 which connect them to the saddle support 4. Mudguards 23 are held centred in relation to the rear wheels by means of radial rods 24 immobilized in the plane of the wheels by transverse members 25, 26 mounted respectively to rest against the end of the single tube 1 and under the rear oblique arms 22. The saddle support 4 may be of U-section with its concave side facing towards the rear of the frame.
