Abstract

779,429. Electromagnetic relays. SIEMENS & HALSKE AKT.-GES. Sept. 9, 1955 [Sept. 9, 1954], No. 25930/55. Class 38(5) A relay armature comprises a permanent magnet a having pole plates a1, a2 clamped against its poles by, Figs. 2, 2a, a stirrup e and a spring plate f having turned-over ends f1 engaging recesses e1 in the stirrup. Pins Z on the stirrup form the armature pivot, the fixed poles of the electromagnet circuit lying between the plates a1, a2 and spaced therefrom by air gaps to permit oscillation of the armature. In another contruction, Fig. 3a, the parts a, a1, a2 are clamped together by a spring stirrup E having out-turned lugs engaging the plate a2. In another construction, Fig. 4a, a plate p retained in apertures in the arms of the stirrup 1 has clamping screws st bearing on the plate a2.
