779,302. Mixing machines. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP TEMA. March 30, 1955 No. 9241/55. Class 86 A method of mixing different kinds of coal and other admixtures utilizes a rotary drum into which the materials are fed, rotary agitators within the drum and means for vibrating the drum. Apparatus for applying the method comprises a conical drum 1 slightly inclined to the horizontal, the drum being driven by a motor 4. The rotary agitators comprise a shaft 5 carrying arms 7 provided with adjustable helical blades 6. The shaft 5 is rotated by a motor 3. The drum is provided with adjustable guiding vanes 2. Mixing is also effected by a vibrator 12 mounted on the drum frame. The materials to be mixed are supplied to the drum at the inlet 10 and removed through the outlet 11.
