Abstract

772,742. Corsets. PRETTY & SONS (1930), Ltd., W. July 13, 1955 [June 21, 1954], No. 18101/54. Class 141. In a corset comprising a back panel 11, side panels 14, 14<SP>1</SP> and a front panel, the front panel consists of nylon side pieces 17, 18 to which are secured cross-over elastic strips 25, 26 arranged behind and extending below a central panel 15 having a V-shaped or other concave lower edge 15<SP>1</SP>. The panels 11, 15 comprise an inner strip of cotton fabric and an outer strip of nylon and are reinforced by bones 12, 21. The panel 15 is backed by a cotton strip 20 having a lower edge 20<SP>1</SP>. The front stocking suspenders 31 are attached at 33 to the front panel 15 and to the lower edges of the side panels 17, 18. Elastic strips 23, 24 extend across the upper ends of the side panels 17, 18.
