Abstract

760,174. Corsets &c. AKTIESELSKABET LASTIC, and LIPSO, H. A. July 19, 1954, No. 20925/54. Class 141. A suspender-belt or similar garment has the front part contracted along the vertical centre line in relation to its side edges by means of transverse folds radiating from the centre line and decreasing in width from this line outwardly. The front part of the belt, Fig. 1, consists of pieces 1, 19 of substantially non- stretch material, each folded along lines 7-10, Fig. 2, the folds being secured by stitching along the pairs of lines 11, 12 ; 13, 14 ; &c. Pieces 22, 23 of horizontally stretchable material are attached to the side edges 4 of the front part, and an elastic insert 21 may also be provided. A piece of plain material is preferably sewn to the back of the front part of the belt. In a modification (Fig. 3, not shown) the belt extends above the wearer's waist.
