In a watch bearing, the setting 6 of the endstore 5 has three equi-spaced projections 8 which prevent rotation of the setting within the housing 1 and are adapted to be engaged by internal ears 10 formed on a resilient split-ring 9 located in an annular groove 11 in the housing 1. In a modification, shown in Fig. 5, only two ears 21 are formed on a split-ring 20 and these bear directly on diametrically opposed portions of an end-store 16.
