1279195 Compasses and dividers W J HARRIS (BIRMINGHAM) Ltd 27 May 1971 [3 March 1970] 9991/70 Heading B6P A pencil or point grip consists of an externally 'threaded bridge-piece 16 straddling the compass leg and coacting with a ring nut 20 working in a slot 19 in the leg. In (Fig. 2) the bridgepiece has internal barbs (29) which prevent the accidental removal of the bridge-piece from the leg.
