Abstract

A pair of coils 2, 21, 3, 31, 4, 4<1>, 5, 5<1> is provided at each corner of the scanned area 1 to adjust the geometry. Further coils may be provided for other parts of the scanned area. The coils may be wound on a magnetic yoke, or flat coils may be carried by a channelled support 12, Fig. 6. In a receiver tube, Fig. 6, the coils are positioned at the screen. In a C.P.S. camera tube, they are positioned immediately following the deflecting coils.
