Class 102(1) [Also in Group XXIX] A hydraulic pump intensifier comprises a differential piston a working in high and low pressure chambers b<SP>1</SP>, b<SP>2</SP>, b<SP>3</SP>, b<SP>4</SP>. Low pressure liquid to the chambers b<SP>1</SP>, b<SP>2</SP> is controlled by a valve h, solenoid actuated under the control of limit switches f, g. Low pressure liquid may also be supplied to the chambers b<SP>3</SP>, b<SP>4</SP> through the valve h or they may be separately supplied. The valve h may be replaced by two separate valves; the limit switches f, g may be replaced by pressure actuated switches in the lines j\ j<SP>2</SP>. A pressure switch q breaks the valve control circuit at a predetermined pressure.
