Abstract

755,364. Feeding sheets &c. ELDORADO ICE CREAM CO., Ltd. May 10, 1955 [June 1, 1954], No. 16194/54. Class 100 (1). [Also in Group XVII] A support for a stack 17 of paper bags comprises a spike 11 passing through a hole near the edge of each bag, so that the bags are suspended from the spike 11 and are urged towards the front of the stack. As shown, the front of the stack 17 is below a shoot 12 down which articles, e.g. iced lollies, are dropped from a platform 10. Each bag is opened, to receive an article, by an air blast supplied through a nozzle 13 and duct 14 Bags are fed by hand to the spike 11, slide down the spike by gravity and are detached therefrom either by the momentum of the article dropped into the bag, or by hand.
