747,595. Cutting grass. BRASINGTON, J. S., and GILHAM, F. A. March 10, 1954, No. 6948/54. Class 6 (3). A cutting unit for a grass or scrub cutter comprises a boss 10 provided with three arms 14, 15, 16 each formed with a tapered slot 17 in which is mounted a blade 18. The blades are held in position by means of a spring 19. The unit is mounted on a shaft which is inserted in a hole 11 and the knives are wedged in the slots by centrifugal force when the unit is rotated.
