726,887. Thread-advancing reels. COURTAULDS, Ltd. Dec. 14, 1953 [Dec. 15, 1952), No. 34712/53. Class 120 (2). A thread-advancing reel 10 comprises two members 11, 12 mounted for rotation about relatively offset and angularly displaced axes, the one member, 11, being positively driven, as from a gear 17 on a shaft 16, and the other member 12, which is eccentrically and freely mounted, is driven therefrom through a onepiece flexible coupling member 33 secured, by rings 34, 35, to both members 11, 12. The member 33 may be of rubber or rubber-like material, leather or a corrugated metallic annulus clamped along its inner and outer peripheries between rubber, &c., gaskets.
