A heat-exchanger comprises a one-piece shell 1 of extruded section, partitioned to form a plurality of rows of cells each cell having a curved pressure-resistant outer wall 2 and containing a bundle of tubes 6 carrying one of the heat-exchanging fluids (e.g. liquid fuel) the other fluid (e.g. oil) flowing through the cells and over the tubes. The partitions 4, 5, subdividing the shell into cells, may be provided with ports (not shown) so that the oil or other external fluid may flow from one cell to the next. Specification 705,571 is referred to.
