714,086. Lawn-mowers. RANSOMES, SIMS & JEFFERIES, Ltd., and PLUMB, A. B. Nov. 4, 1952 [Nov. 5, 1951], No. 25853/51. Class 6 (2) Mower units are combined to form a gang mower by means of a draft frame comprising tubes 1, 2 fixed to an eye 5. As shown, a draft frame is bolted on either side of a central frame 11 of a mower 12, a further mower 13 being attached to each eye 5. The gang mower shown may be hitched to a transverse bar, on each end of which is hitched a further mower. Two gang mowers as shown may be hitched to a transverse bar with a single mower between to form a septuple gang mower. Specifications 163,300 and 397,726 are referred to.
