702,361. Tools for setting out work. BENKOE, I. Aug. 18, 1952 [Jan. 4, 1952], No. 312/52. Class 61. A tool for locating and marking centres consists of a pair of dividers one point of which comprises a centre punch which is pre-set to lie perpendicular to the surface to be marked. The centre punch 13 is carried by a graduated segment 14 pivoted at 15 to the leg 12 of the dividers. The segment is locked in adjusted position by a nut 17 on a screw carried by the leg 12 and passing through a slot 16 in the segment. Graduations 19 which co-operate with an index mark 20 on the leg 12 allow presetting of the punch to correspond with the adjusted dimension of the dividers. Specification 685,106 is referred to.
