Abstract

694,312. Crates or stillages. CHASE, P. C., and CHASE, Ltd., P. C. & C. K. Feb. 28, 1951 [March 13, 1950], No. 6277/50. Class 18. [Also in Group XXX] A crate or stillage has a non-detachable door in one face facilitating access to the contents. The lower rail 25 of the door may be pivoted so that the upper rail 24 may be raised clear of brackets 27 and the door swung down. In other embodiments the door may slide vertically in slotted brackets or may be raised and slid clear of the aperture to lie across the top of the stillage. C'one and ball elements 14, 15, facilitate stacking. In all embodiments, the upper rail of the door, when closed, interlocks with the pillars supporting it to prevent inward or outward movement of these pillars.
