Class 52(iii) A stand head 4 is connected to a pillar or tripod by a plug 13, a resilient member 1 being interposed between the head and plug and secured by screws 11. 14 engaging bushes 3, 2 therein. The head contains cylindrical insert 5 with a screw 10 for attachment to a camera, a slidable wedging device 6 clamping the insert when desired. The pillar or tripod legs may be telescopic and fitted with an internal flexible tie to limit extension and a reversible foot piece, to provide a pad or spiked foot alternatively, may be inserted in the end section.
