672,525. Creped laminated sheet material. BUTLER, H. R. Aug. 9, 1950, No. 19851/50. Class 140. A creped metal foil comprises a backing 27 of fibrous cellulosic material, e.g. paper, of greater width than, and adhesively attached to, the foil 26. The adhesive is moisture and heat resistant. The laminated foil is produced by adhesively attaching a sheet or web of foil to a wider sheet or web of cellulosic fibrous material, passing the laminate through a bath of hot water to which may be added a small quantity of adhesive, squeezing out the excess moisture, applying the sheet or web to a heated creping roller and removing the sheet or web therefrom with a creping knife.
