Abstract

660,448. Seats &c. KOCKS SNICKERIFABRIKER AKTIEBOLAG. Oct. 18, 1949. [Oct. 28, 1948; July 30, 1949] Nos. 26690/49 and 26691/49. Class 52 (ii). Seats &c. comprising a seat, back and two side frames are constructed so that the back is detachably secured to the side frames at the rear thereof, the rear end of the seat cooperates with the surfaces at the lower end of the back such that some tilting of the forward end of the seat is permitted and the front end of the seat is supported from the side frames only means being provided for locking the parts together. As shown the rear parts of the side frames 1 are provided with fittings 6 having key-hole slots 7 into which are adapted to be inserted headed studs 8 secured to the back 2, the lower ends of the fittings 6 being bent around as shown at 6a. The lower end of the back is provided with a slot 10 into which takes a projection 11 of the seat 3 such that slight tilting of the forward end of the seat is permitted. On the forward parts of the seat are mounted V-shaped sockets with which co-operate wedge projections on the side frames 1, means such as spring latches being provided for locking the projections in the sockets. Lugs 12 on the rear ends of the seat engage below the in-turned ends 6a of the sideframe fittings 6 so preventing the dismantling of the back 2 before removal of the seat.
