Abstract
653,857. Autographic registers. LAMSON PARAGON SUPPLY CO., Ltd. April 27, 1948, No. 11523. Convention date, Sept. 20, 1947. [Class 106 (i)] [Also in Group XV] An autographic register of the portable type comprises a casing containing a pack of continuous stationery forms in the form of a web folded in zig-zag fashion in a compartment 7, the bottom plate 1 of the casing being provided with a transverse slot 10, one edge 11 of which is higher than the opposite edge 12 to retain record forms torn from the web after entries have been made thereon. The edge 11 may be bent upwardly or may be made thicker than the remainder of the plate 1. Inscribed record forms are inserted through the slot 10, an L-shaped slot also being provided in the base 1 to assist in arranging them smoothly in place. The web is drawn from the compartment 7 over a roller 6 across a writing plate 4, a spring- pressed pin 8 which engages perforations in the web being provided to position each length correctly. The web may be numbered at intervals so that when a record form is inserted into the compartment 7 the numbers are visible through an aperture in the bottom plate 1.
