Abstract

644,214. Agricultural implements. ROADLESS TRACTION, Ltd. March 18; 1948, No. 8163. [Class 6(i)] An agricultural machine comprises a pair of steerable wheels 2, motor driven rear track units 5 and laterally spaced alternately operable plough bodies 13. As shown, the ploughs are connected by links 7 to a frame 9 supporting the wheels 2 and are each lifted by a lever 16. The front wheels are equipped with adhesion rings 2<SP>1</SP> and are laterally adjustable in frame 9. An additional implement or a trailer may be fitted to the rear of the machine. In a modification the ploughs are attached by links to the front of the housing 1 adjacent to the track units 5. -The machine may also have a single track unit at the rear, and the front wheels may be replaced by track units.
