654,539. Agricultural implements. DALE, S. Aug. 4, 1948, No. 20576. [Class 6(i)] A scarifying attachment to be fitted to a soil ridging machine of the type having a frame comprising front and rear horizontal crossbars 12, 13 formed with a series of holes 14 for the adjustable mounting of ridging ploughs 10, 11, comprises a pair of bars 15 mounted on the bars 12, 13, each bar 15 having a socket 16 for the adjustable mounting of a tine 17, a crossplate 21 being provided and having a tine socket 23. The bars 15 project forwardly from the bar 12 so that the tines act in front of the ridging ploughs 10, 11.
