[Class 126] A standardizec framework for use ir the construction of a gas cooker comprise: angle iron corner posts the upper ends of which are united by a sheet metal band the upper edge of which is flangec to carry hot plate components, each corner post being adapted tc support grilling chambers, ovens or other components. Four angle irons a are united at the top by a sheet metal band b having flanges c on which hotplates e may rest. A hotplate extension q may be attached to the hotplate e by hooks r and be supported on the corner posts a by struts s. An oven, grilling chamber or shelves o may rest on bars g supported on corner posts a by lugs f and a sliding tray t may be provided.
