553,799. Gas and other cookers. TURLEY, & WILLIAMS, Ltd., SMITH, C. D., and OTTON, D. H. Dec. 9, 1941, No. 15846. [Class 126] A gas or other cooker is built up from a number of frames 4, 8, 11 superposed or arranged side by side and bolted together at contacting surfaces, facing plates 14, 18, 21 bolted at lugs 14a to the front members of the frames 4, 8, 11, high and low temperature oven chambers 15, 19 secured to the facing plates 14, 18, a hot plate tray secured to the frame 11, plates 16 and a back panel 14b secured to the sides and back of the frames to enclose heat insulating material 17a and facing plates 17 secured to the sides of the frames. The frames 4, 8, 11 comprise rectangular angle bar sides connected by angle bar cross-members. The upper connecting bar 13 of the frame 11 may form a front gas supply tube and be bolted to the side members. The frame 4 may be bolted to supporting legs. When arranged side by side the frames 4, 8 may be bolted to a pedestal under-frame and the hot plate unit-may be mounted on the low temperature oven a coverplate being secured to the top of the high temperature oven.
